Temporary Rope Access/API 510/Inspector - 4 week project in Texas City, TX

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards.
  • Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to the client.
  • Provide technical recommendations for the repair, re-rating, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment to ensure safe operation within stated parameters.
  • Offer technical input to the client regarding welding and metallurgical issues.
  • Provide technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
  • Comply fully with all Acuren and client's safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must have API 510 certification.
  • Must have Rope Access certification at any level.
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience or 2+ years on-site experience preferred.
  • Additional API 653 or Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification a plus.
  • In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
  • Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
