Job Description The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Retail Associates (2nd & 3rd shift) at Gipper's in our Campus Dining department. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations. Retail Associate This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for our guests while ensuring a clean, fast and friendly multi unit environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist guests and exceed expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishmentAssist with preparation of food as neededStock and rotation of food inventoriesOperate order and point of sale equipment Accurately follow the brand standardsWash dishes, and maintain a clean unitPerform all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities Qualifications Available to work afternoon or late night shifts (11AM-7PM or 4PM-12AM)Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervisionPositive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skillsPrevious food service experience is preferredAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products Additional Information Pay Rate: $17.50/hr The University of Notre Dame seeks to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty, staff and administration.
