Temporary Remarketing Driver - Mobile

This position is located at 6238 Creel Rd, Theodore, AL 36582 and is a temporary role lasting a maximum of 90 days.

About the role

The Driver delivers vehicles—and occasionally customers, employees, or vendors—safely and on time to the appropriate destinations while providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service.

Pay

$11 per hour.

Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to the appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems, including daily maintenance (e.g., ensuring proper oil, tire, and fluid levels).
• Ensure proper fuel tank level and fill with gasoline if needed.
• Complete paperwork associated with pick-up and delivery of vehicles.
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Clean vehicles and/or keep buses clean during shift as requested.
• Assist customers with directions, car options, luggage loading/unloading, and basic policy/procedures.
• Practice safe driving with attention to detail to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation.
• Drive a variety of vehicles in all weather and road conditions.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
• No excessive speeding violations (26+ mph over the posted limit) in the last three years.
• No drug- or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past five years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must live within a reasonable commute (no more than 30 minutes) of the location.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
