Temporary Production Associate

Temporary Production Worker positions for the evening shift at Marvin Lumber and Cedar Company, LLC in Warroad, MN. These roles are full-time temporary from October 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.

Schedule

Mon–Thurs, 3:30 p.m.–1:30 a.m. with 0–16 hours of overtime (2 extra hours per day and/or a Friday night shift of up to 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Pull and prime parts for warehouse
• Assemble window sashes and window frames
• Apply aluminum clad to wood parts, glaze, and install window sash
• Use woodworking, power, or hand tools as required
• Place completed units on tow-line carts and deliver to loading dock
• Clean work area at end of shift

Requirements

• Ability to perform job duties
• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug test, and physical assessment
• Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.

Pay

Starting rate of $21.50 per hour; overtime pay of $32.25 per hour after 40 hours worked per work week. Returning employees may receive an additional $0.25/hour for each year they return, capped at $1.00/hour.

Travel & Subsistence

• If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.
• Upon completion of the employment period or earlier dismissal, the employer will pay for reasonable return transportation and subsistence costs, except where the worker secures subsequent employment or abandons the job.
• Transportation reimbursement will cover the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
• Daily subsistence during travel will be at least $16.28 per day, up to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts.
• In the first workweek, the employer will reimburse all visa processing, border crossing, and related government-mandated fees (excluding passport fees).

Guarantees

• Employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge.
• Employer guarantees to offer work for at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week work period of the total employment period.
