Responsibilities

The Distribution Center Associate performs warehouse responsibilities and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing – picking, packing, staging, shipping, general maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities to guarantee a safe and clean work environment. Ensure compliance with safety requirements by performing inspections and maintenance.

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.

Requirements

• Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to receive feedback and work well in a team environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include 18+ months previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience in fast-paced environments, strong knowledge of warehouse operations, and great attention to detail, quality, and safety.

Pay

This position is hourly, with pay starting at $20.65/hour.

Schedule

The work schedule is day shift: Monday - Friday 7:15am-11:15am / 2:00pm-6:00pm start time. This is a temporary position hired for a defined period of time of approximately 90 days and does not guarantee ongoing or permanent employment.
