Temporary - Mental Health Therapist
Primary Function
Provides clinical assessment and treatment planning to students, including individuals, couples, and group therapy; provides consultation to faculty and staff regarding student mental health and counseling needs; participates in training and professional development activities; provides crisis assessment and intervention services; and practices in accordance with appropriate legal and ethical practices and standards.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
- Current Iowa licensure as a mental health therapist or licensed independent social worker
- Experience providing direct client therapy required
Preferred Qualifications
- College counseling center experience preferred

$30.00 to Commensurate Pay Grade: 119 Pay Basis: Hourly FLSA Status: Non-Exempt; position is eligible for overtime or comp time
