About the Role

The Wolfe University Center is seeking a Temporary Marketing Assistant to assist with marketing, design, multimedia production, and communication efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and create print and digital materials adhering to FIU's brand standards using Adobe Creative Cloud and other applications for print, digital media, web, and social media platforms.
• Provide photo and video coverage during events and programming.
• Conduct image retouching, manipulation, and video editing, including storyboarding, working with editing software, captioning, and creating graphic elements.
• Assist in creating and publishing social media posts and aid in the development and implementation of social media/marketing calendars.
• Propose and implement marketing campaigns to increase student awareness of FIU Student Centers.
• Measure the success of social media posts by providing data and analytics.
• Help with departmental events and programming, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of FIU's branding, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, web design, and social media trends, ensuring project compliance with FIU accessibility policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
