Temporary Maintenance Custodian

About the role

This role involves performing semi-skilled cleaning and maintenance duties to keep facilities safe, neat, and functional.

Responsibilities

• Assist with property upkeep, storage, and restocking
• Implement preventive maintenance programs
• Report damages or unauthorized access
• Adhere to policies and participate in training

Requirements

• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crawl
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three months of related experience
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
• Basic mathematical abilities

Qualifications

• Inupiaq language and cultural experience (preferred)
• Valid Class D Alaska driver’s license (preferred)

Work Environment

• Exposure to chemicals, fumes, and mechanical parts
• Moderate noise levels

Pay

Minimum salary of $24.02 per hour.
