About the role
The part-time position will rotate coverage between Chemistry and Hematology, Blood Bank and also assist with Microbiology testing, as needed. This is a TEMPORARY, part-time position, working every Saturday and Sunday, 4pm-12am with rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
- Rotate coverage between Chemistry and Hematology
- Assist with Blood Bank operations
- Provide coverage for Microbiology testing as needed
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
- If pending a clinical laboratory technologist license - must obtain license within 6 months of hire
Qualifications
- ASCP certification preferred
