Temporary Inbound Unloader/ Receiver

Job Description

This person will play a key role in ensuring merchandise is organized and handled with care to provide value to our customers.

What does an Inbound Receiving Warehouse Associate do?

• Unload carton freight trailers according to department standards by counting, selecting, and sorting cartons by style, color, store order, or other criteria while following trailer safety practices.
• Work in an environment with variable temperatures.
• Maintain housekeeping inside trailers and around dock door area.
• Able to use a computer keyboard for logging trailer and inventory information.
• Able to read from a computer screen in English.
• Count, select and sort cartons by style, color, store order or other criteria.
• Lift and lower packages up to 50 lbs. and reach with hands and arms.
• Team lifting may be required on some assignments.
• Match receipts against purchase orders.
• Able to work with limited supervision.
• Be flexible with changing demands and priorities.
• Show good attention to detail.
• Be safety conscious.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of job-related experience is preferred, but not required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a specialized math and skill assessment.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 10 to 12 hours.

Shift Opportunity

• B Shift (Friday-Sunday 5:30am -6:00pm)
• C Shift (Monday-Thursday 4:00pm -2:30am)
