About the role
Air Methods is seeking exceptional pilots to join our team. We provide air medical transport services 24/7, ensuring safety and offering work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely and legally.
- Verify aircraft airworthiness before every flight.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, AIM, GOM, and Air Methods policies.
- Complete detailed flight planning with minimal notice.
- Participate in meetings, activities, projects, and community outreach.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with 2-5 years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Commercial & Instrument Rating (category and class of aircraft).
- ATP rating in category.
- First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate.
- Minimum 2000 total flight hours with 1500 in category, 500 in rotor wing turbine time, 1000 hours PIC in category, 200 hours cross-country flight time, 50 hours unaided night as PIC, and 50 hours total actual or hood instrument time.
- Regular scheduled attendance - 7 days on/7 days off (12-hour shifts).

Pay and Schedule
- Regular scheduled attendance - 7 days on/7 days off (12-hour shifts).
- Sign-on bonus of $15,000 available.
