Duties
- Work closely with the University Library to coordinate the Law Library’s participation in the University Library’s integrated library system, including EZ-Proxy administration.
- Enhance awareness of the library’s physical and electronic resources through the ExLibris’ Primo discovery service and the law library website.
- Supervise the maintenance of Law Library specific electronic databases and resources, such as LibGuides, Digital Commons, and vendor study aid subscriptions.
- Monitor ongoing changes with Title II digital accessibility compliance.
- Provide reference and research support services to law school students, faculty, staff, members of the University community, and the general public.
- Teach Introduction to Legal Research and other potential semester courses.
- Prepare presentations, lectures, or other materials on specific legal research topics and use of the law library collection.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited school required.
- One-year successful completion of an MLIS program from an ALA-accredited school or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in library and information science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited school or equivalent experience.
