Core Responsibilities
- Receive and organize incoming packages from multiple delivery carriers.
- Sort and store packages accurately within designated pickup areas.
- Aid students at the package pickup counter and provide excellent customer service.
- Locate, process, and distribute packages to students in a timely manner.
- Support package tracking and inventory processes using computer-based systems.
- Maintain organized workspaces and ensure package storage areas remain orderly and accessible.
- Communicate and coordinate with Housing and other campus partners as needed.
- Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Perform additional package operations support duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Handling heavy containers of mail full of packages weighing up to the allowable maximum mailing weight of 70lbs.
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
