Temporary Dental Assistant in Training

About the Role

This position involves assisting in dental procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist, focusing on providing a positive patient experience and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic dental assisting duties per state regulations
• Participating in delivering excellent patient care and addressing individual needs
• Executing infection control, sterilization, and operatory cleaning procedures
• Completing radiographs and intra-oral images following safety guidelines
• Preparing patients and support materials for procedures, supporting chairside assistance, and facilitating patient handoff
• Instructing patients on oral health post-treatment
• Documenting patient notes and treatment records digitally
• Supporting patient care by presenting necessary documentation to the dentist
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications & Skills

• No prior dental experience required
• Customer service experience preferred

Pay

Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $23.00 per hour.
