TEMPORARY Customer Service Aide - Registration Unit
Description of Job Duties
This position works primarily in a customer-service capacity on a daily basis, assisting customers either in-person or over the phone. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Process boat, snowmobile, and off-highway vehicle registration applications from customers and/or internal and external agents utilizing data entry software.
- Sell park passes, permits, fishing licenses and other various passes or licenses.
- Collect revenue and operate a POS system.
- Provide registration and park information to customers over the counter or over the phone.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Requires prior work experience in a customer-service setting (at least one year is preferred).
- Conditions of Employment: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid drivers' license or reliable transportation. Previous experience handling money and working with the public is preferred. Previous experience with Word or Excel is helpful. Must be able to successfully pass a background screening. Ability to work with little supervision and work well within a team. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills to deliver excellent customer service and telephone skills.
