Temporary Custodian I (2nd Shift) - Custodial Services

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial duties necessary for the general maintenance of buildings which involve tasks that require carrying, lifting, bending
• Empties trash and recycling
• Changes light bulbs in assigned areas using stepladder
• Shovels snow and spreads ice melt to maintain building entrances
• Reports needed repairs by completing repair slips
• Fills out order forms for requesting cleaning materials, supplies, etc.
• Locks and unlocks doors
• Operates machines to facilitate cleaning activities
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions
• Prior cleaning experience preferred

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This is a temporary position limited to 1040 hours per fiscal year.
