About the role

This position plays an integral role in executing marketing and communications strategies, maintaining the Museum's public presence, and ensuring consistent messaging across digital and print platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across the Museum's social media platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
• Develop graphics and other digital assets for social media.
• Prepare press kits, media materials, presentation decks, and other communications collateral.
• Coordinate event listings and calendar submissions across print and online publications.
• Collaborate with departments throughout the Museum to gather information, promote exhibitions, programs, educational initiatives, and special events.
• Ensure all communications materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with the Museum's brand standards.
• Develop a strategic weekly content plan aligned with exhibitions, events, and media posts per month.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Communication and writing skills as well as knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms for an organization or brand.
• Experience creating digital presentations and marketing materials.
