Temporary CBRI Research Assistant

FIU's Community Based Research Institution seeks a Temporary CBRI Research Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Training of team members in home visit and cognitive testing procedures.
• Scheduling and completing drop-off and pick-up of study materials at participants' homes.
• Completing informed consent with participants.
• Capturing data from participants in their homes including height, weight, blood pressure, and other information as required by the project.
• Aiding in research tasks such as preparing, formatting, translating, and proofing of study materials including recruitment flyers, questionnaires, and other items.
• Handling of biospecimens.
• Assisting with data storage, management, and cleaning, as needed.
• Coordinating recruitment events and scheduling participant interviews, as needed.
• Aiding in the preparation, formatting, and proofing of presentations, manuscripts, and literature reviews.
• Participating in all project-related meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma with three (3) years of experience or two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

• Bachelor's degree.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.
