Temporary Audit Consultant

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Audit Consultant for a 2-4 week project to review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.

About the role

This is a fully on-site, project-based opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys identifying issues, improving processes, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive review of accounting records and financial data within Yardi
• Reconcile accounts and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions
• Evaluate accounting procedures, controls, and reporting processes
• Provide recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
• Document findings and present a summary of areas for improvement to leadership

Requirements

• Previous audit, accounting, or financial review experience
• Property management industry experience required
• Strong proficiency with Yardi
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and complete the project within a short timeline
