Primary Purpose
Congruent with marine turtle conservation strategies outlined in the Marine Turtle Permit and Guidelines as set forth by FWC, conduct outreach in Broward County under the supervision of an FWC permitted Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation program administrator, Principle Investigator, or Project Manager.

Essential Job Functions
- Present an educational presentation to the general public
- Participate in local outreach events throughout the community including but not limited to table talks, school events, hatchling releases, and other events around Broward County
- Participate in public and private hatchling releases within Broward County
Job Requirements
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Communicate messages of conservation effectively to members of the community
- Be able to communicate and maintain working relationships with all contracted staff, volunteers, County and Federal employees, and the general public at all times
Required Certifications/Licensures
- Must be able to complete all required training modules for each component of beach monitoring activities
Required Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- (if required: Biology or related science)
Required Experience
- Must already be an employee of the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program
