Temp-to-Perm Junior Accounting and Finance Generalist
About the role
Munich Airport NJ LLC, a US‑based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport, is seeking a Junior Accounting and Finance Generalist who will start as a temporary employee (on the company payroll) and transition to a full‑time position. The role reports to the Director of Finance and is based in the office space at Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A. It is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week, with up to two days remote as agreed with the manager.
Responsibilities
- Back‑up accounts payable and receivable functions
- Create financial dashboards for the department
- Support documentation efforts for audits and internal controls, including process mapping and documenting SOPs
- Assist with project management responsibilities, focusing on data management and building timelines for the AP to NetSuite conversion project
Requirements
- College degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in accounting and finance‑related tasks
Skills
- Very strong Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling
- Experience building or maintaining reports in PowerBI (desired)

Pay
Base salary range: $45,000 – $50,000 per year, with the exact offer based on experience and skills. A discretionary bonus is also part of the total compensation package.
Schedule
Hybrid work arrangement: minimum of three days onsite per week, with the possibility of up to two days working remotely as agreed with the manager.
