Temp Standard Products Assembler

We are looking for a Temp Standard Products Assembler to join our Standard Products Department. Training will be provided on the job, but any soldering and wiring experience would be beneficial.

About the role

In this position, you will assemble and wire electrical or electronic components such as control panels, chassis, circuit boards, and high-voltage transformers, following mostly repetitive production standards.

Responsibilities

• Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to Master book specifications with supervision.
• Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
• Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment and basic hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Complete other tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED certificate (additional experience may be considered in lieu of education).
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to collaborate with other team members.
• Detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Soldering experience.
• Wiring experience.
• Ability to read a schematic.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, sit, use computers, read, and communicate with coworkers and customers.
• Manual dexterity is required.
• Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds; assistance required for lifting 50 or more pounds.

Pay

Hourly pay: $20.00. Actual base salary offered will be determined based on work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant education or training experience.
