Temp Quality Control Inspector (Swing Shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm)

About the role

Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
• Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.
• Ensures raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards.
• May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.
• May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations.
• Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.

Requirements

• Experience with high-volume PCBA manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with IPC 610.
• Able to identify component values.
• Able to read ECO (Engineering Change Orders).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs).
• Familiar and able to operate Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machine.
• Available for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to a minimum 40-hour workweek.
• Able to read English and communicate well with others.
• Ability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an inspector.

Pay

Annual salary range: $39,915.20 – $48,880.00 ($19.19 – $23.50 per hour).

Schedule

Day shift, with availability for overtime and weekend work as required.
