Temp Production Test Technician

About the role
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Conducts sub-assembly and system-level functional test and debug to component level. Troubleshoots rejected analog and digital assemblies down to component level. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation.
- Follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
- Reads, understands, and follows test process instructions (TPIs).
- Performs production and field service returns testing and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrates detailed root cause analysis troubleshooting skills.
- Evaluates and troubleshoots complex electro-mechanical instruments.
- Performs general assembly and disassembly of electronic equipment using basic hand tools.
- Interprets schematics and drawings, performs modifications, and accomplishes rework to new and used sub-assemblies and systems.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of manufacturing electronic test technician experience.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to a minimum 40-hour workweek.
Pay
$45,760 - $54,080 per year
