About the role
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Responsibilities
- Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.
- Follow established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
- Read, understand, and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs) in English.
- Perform mechanical assembly.
- Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Properly use manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume assembly manufacturing environment.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to a minimum 40-hour workweek.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
Pay
Salary Range (annual): $38,584 - $45,760.
