Temp Mechanical Assembler

About the role

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities

• Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices.
• Follow established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
• Read, understand, and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs) in English.
• Perform mechanical assembly.
• Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, drawings, or diagrams.
• Properly use manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume assembly manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to a minimum 40-hour workweek.

Pay

Annual salary range: $39,520 – $46,800 ($19.00 – $22.50 per hour).
