About the role

Robert Half is seeking a Contract Attorney or experienced Contracts Manager for a part-time, remote engagement with a mission-driven nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including: Vendor agreements, Data sharing agreements, Collaboration agreements, Payment provider agreements
• Manage a workflow of approximately 15–20 U.S.-based contracts per month
• Support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders and legal team members across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure contracts align with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and risk management standards
• Assist with contract standardization efforts and the development of scalable legal processes
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency across contracting workflows

Requirements

• Job Title: Contract Attorney / Contracts Manager
• Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
• Schedule: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
• Duration: 3–6-month contract engagement with potential extension
• Hrs: Part-time, with possibility to scale toward full-time
• Pay: $50-$75/hour (depending on experience)

Qualifications

• Active bar admission (in good standing) in New York
• 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to guardianship, elder law, or administrative law
