Temp / Lab Assistant

About the role

This position will support ongoing studies of new lymphatic imaging agents in animal models within the Penn Image Guided Intervention Lab. Most of the time will be spent imaging rat models, with the balance spent analyzing the resulting data and some general lab maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing studies of new lymphatic imaging agents in animal models within the Penn Image Guided Intervention Lab.
• Imaging rat models.
• Analyze the resulting data.
• Perform general lab maintenance duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of animal care and handling.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Experience with image analysis software.

Skills

• Proficient in using laboratory equipment.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.

Pay
