Basic Purpose

Aid residents with feeding/hydration and other small tasks that do not require hands-on assistance.

Typical Functions

• Sweep, dust, mop dining room floors
• Absorb residents with feeding and hydration
• Complete meal charting
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Level Descriptor

This is the entry level of this job family where employees are assigned routine work involving sweeping, mopping and other simple cleaning duties. Assisting residents with feeding and hydration.

Education and Experience

No formal education or experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Competencies

Candidates must have sufficient proficiency in the English language to perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge, skills and abilities required at this level include the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Special Requirements

Employees will be required to obtain their Feeding Assistant Certification.
