About the role

The Picker/Packer’s primary purpose is to perform production work such as picking materials and verifying items for accuracy before packing. Success in this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the standard orders per hour (OPH) by client and exceeding efficiency goals to satisfy client needs and demands.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from slots.
• Place merchandise in boxes and send to the shipping line.
• Replenish products for the PTL machine for the next shift.
• Organize, tidy up, and clean your work area and equipment.
• Report any errors or dysfunctions to team leaders.
• Follow best practices and training guides for the job.
• Cross-train in other areas of the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including:
  • Manually remove dunnage from inbound loads.
  • Document loads with pictures using a company-issued tablet.
  • Manually restack pallets for shifted loads.
  • Inspect pallet quality.
  • Manually wrap pallets with stretch wrap as needed.
  • Document pallets in an Excel spreadsheet as they come in and go out.
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Pay

$19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Schedule

Wednesday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
