About the role
Supports the Fenty North America Creative Team by executing dynamic creative for a variety of mediums that delivers on a cohesive brand experience. In this hybrid role, the Associate Graphic Designer bridges the physical and digital worlds, designing high-impact visual assets for both print collateral and digital channels. From immersive digital experiences on-site, email, and emerging platforms to visual merchandising and print collateral, you will help maintain and elevate the brand’s visual presence across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Execute production-ready marketing assets across digital, print, email, social, and retail channels, working within established campaign frameworks and designer templates.
- Adapt layouts for multiple formats and placements with speed, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of typography, photography, and graphic design to ensure all assets meet high quality, consistency, and accuracy requirements.
- Own the presentation of assigned projects to cross-functional teams to gather feedback and secure final approvals.
- Produce final files for release across both digital and print.
- Assist designers on set for in-house photoshoots and TikTok Lives.
- Develop strong partnerships with Brand Management, Marketing, Program Management, Retail Sales, and E-Commerce teams.
- Maintain organized file structures and asset libraries in shared systems.
- Manage multiple asset requests simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, communicating proactively about timelines, and collaborating closely with Project Management to flag blockers.
Requirements
- College degree: BA or BFA with a focus on Graphic Design, Communications Design, or a similar field.
- 2+ years of professional design experience spanning both digital and print.
- Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Strong production skills with a demonstrated ability to execute at high volume without sacrificing quality, layout, typography, or brand consistency.
- Proven experience preparing production-ready print files and working with print vendors.
- Understanding of digital trends and best practices for responsive web design, marketing emails, paid social, and digital banners.
- Familiarity with basic video editing and emerging AI platforms, a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present polish to groups of varying sizes and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Solid organizational, time-management, and relationship-building skills to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for beauty, retail, and current fashion/beauty trends; beauty industry experience preferred.
Pay
The salary range for this temp position is $40.00 - $48.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and San Francisco location.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role based in the downtown San Francisco office—Tuesdays through Thursdays in-office, with Mondays and Fridays remote.
