About the Role
The Teller is responsible for providing quality member service, accurately processing counter transactions, and meeting established sales referral goals for Credit Union products.
Responsibilities
- Complete members' transactions at the teller window with accuracy, timeliness, courtesy, confidentiality, and professionalism. Time: 40%
- Meet established sales referral goals as assigned by Branch Manager. Time: 35%
- Open and close the branch and perform general account maintenance.
- Maintain and balance cash drawer, operate cash dispense machine, buy and sell cash to the vault, verify cash, and keep cash orderly. Time: 25%
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year cash handling experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year customer service experience required.
- Sales or referral experience with proven results.
Skills

- Basic knowledge of math.
- Working knowledge of ten-key calculator, computer keyboard, and programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet.
- Ability to interact with members in a positive, professional manner.

- Knowledge of Credit Union products and services.

- Unpredictable work hours; may require long hours for deadlines or meetings.
