Teller Service Associate (JFK) (Part-Time, 20-24 hrs/wk.)

Responsibilities

• Connect with members and potential members by providing courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service to increase member satisfaction and account usage.
• Accurately and efficiently process transactions such as deposits, payments, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
• Actively listen to identify members' unique needs and educate them on appropriate credit union products and services.
• Understand and demonstrate the technology available to members, showing them how to use it.
• Perform miscellaneous operational duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive and professional image of the credit union.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or equivalent experience.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to exude confidence and lead by example in providing outstanding member service.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust your communication style to your audience.
• Positive attitude and strong desire to help others.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to navigate between multiple programs.

Pay

Starting pay of $19.14 per hour.
