About the role

Our Retail Bankers serve as the face of the organization and are critical in caring for our customers each day. Through comprehensive training, you will engage customers and enhance their experience by offering products and services tailored to their needs. This role provides a well-rounded knowledge base that prepares you for advancement opportunities and a long-term career in banking at Woodforest.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales goals by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services that benefit customers.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Handle branch servicing duties including vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in alignment with Woodforest Experience training.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR
• An Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree.

Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required. Must be positive and engaging.

Formal Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status

Full-time. No supervisory responsibility. Little to no overnight travel expected. Occasional business needs may require covering nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from your assigned branch.

Working Conditions

Conditions include standing most of the time, with walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods. Occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
