Responsibilities

As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of our organization and play a critical role in caring for our customers each day. You will receive training to engage and enhance the customer experience by offering products and services tailored to their needs. This role provides a well-rounded knowledge base that prepares you for advancement opportunities and a robust career in banking at Woodforest.

• Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance
• Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines
• Employ problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with Woodforest Experience training

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Positive and engaging demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous in-store banking experience

Work Status and Conditions

• Full-time position with no supervisory responsibility
• Little to no overnight travel expected; occasional need to cover nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from assigned branch
• Standing most of the time; may involve walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods; occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs

Salary

$16.48 to $19.81 per hour
