Retail Bankers serve as the face of the organization, engaging customers daily and identifying financial solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, market, and recommend bank products and services that benefit customers to achieve individual sales goals.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and automated teller machine maintenance.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in alignment with Woodforest Experience training.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; or
• An Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; or
• A Bachelor’s degree.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous in-store banking experience preferred but not required. Must be positive and engaging.

Work Environment

• Full-time position with no supervisory responsibility.
• Little to no overnight travel; occasional need to cover nearby branches up to 45 miles from the assigned location.
• Standing most of the time; may involve walking, bending, stooping, or brief periods of sitting; occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.

• Vacation and paid leave accrual based on hire date:
  • Hired Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr: 5 days (40 hours) vacation and 5 days (40 hours) paid leave.
  • Hired May/Jun/Jul/Aug: 5 days (40 hours) paid leave.
  • Hired Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec: Not eligible for vacation; paid leave accrual determined by specific hire date.
