About the role

Retail Bankers are the face of our organization and play a critical role in caring for our customers daily. You’ll receive training to successfully engage and enhance the customer experience by offering products and services tailored to their needs. The knowledge you develop will prepare you for advancement opportunities and a robust career in banking at Woodforest.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
• Employ problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in a manner consistent with Woodforest Experience training.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in-store banking experience preferred but not required.
• Must be positive and engaging.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment

• Full-time position with little to no overnight travel expected; occasional coverage of nearby branches up to 45 miles from your assigned location may be required.
• Conditions include standing most of the time, with occasional walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods, and lifting/carrying items up to 30 lbs.
