About the role
Our Retail Bankers are the face of our organization, critical in caring for customers daily. You will receive training to successfully engage and enhance the customer experience by offering products and services tailored to their needs. This role provides a robust foundation for career advancement in banking at Woodforest.
Responsibilities
- Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
- Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
- Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in a manner consistent with Woodforest Experience training.
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be positive and engaging.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Schedule
Full-time. Little to no overnight travel expected. Based on occasional business needs, you may be expected to cover nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from your assigned branch.
Working Conditions
- Standing most of the time, with occasional walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
