Responsibilities
As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with customers daily and enhancing their experience by offering products and services tailored to their needs. Through comprehensive training, you will develop a well-rounded knowledge base that prepares you for career advancement within banking at Woodforest.
- Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services that benefit customers.
- Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
- Handle branch servicing duties, including vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in alignment with Woodforest Experience training.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR
- An Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree.
Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required. Must be positive and engaging.
Formal Education & Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Work Status
- Full-time.
- No supervisory responsibility.
- Little to no overnight travel expected; occasional coverage of nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from your assigned branch may be required based on business needs.
Working Conditions
- Standing most of the time, with occasional walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
