Teller - Part Time

About the role

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served by performing teller functions, a broad variety of member services, and promoting or cross-selling credit union products and services. This part-time position at our Pontiac branch offers the opportunity to earn incentive pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, and loan payments according to credit union practices and policies.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to provide high-quality member service and meet credit union goals.
• Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals; investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions.
• Resolve members' requests and questions promptly, whether in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.
• Maintain and project the Credit Union's reputation for quality service.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience helpful.

Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good math skills.
• Able to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment.
• Good typing skills.
