About the Role

Under supervision, and in accordance with existing procedures and systems, this role provides a variety of member service functions involving the receiving and/or disbursing of funds (e.g., checks, money orders). The position requires constant and direct interaction with members, accuracy in recording information, and effective communication. Work may be performed on the teller platform or at drive-thru windows.

Responsibilities

• Sell and cross-sell services based on member needs to meet assigned goals.
• Process and qualify all deposit items, withdrawals, and transfers to and from various accounts.
• Process loan payments and assess appropriate service charges/fees.
• Research outages to maintain the required 80% balancing ratio.
• Complete forms for Western Union, bank wires, CTRs, and SARs, and relay them to the appropriate departments.
• Process Shared Branching transactions in accordance with Credit Union Service Center protocol.
• Follow all established security procedures related to opening/closing the branch, dual control, keys, combinations, and maintaining cash drawer limits.
• Assist with dual control as needed.
• Provide money orders, teller checks, credit card cash advances, and payments.
• Process loan advances from various credit products.
• Open and close terminal, account for cash assigned, received, and disbursed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
