Responsibilities
- Perform accurate, efficient cash receipt and payment transactions in accordance with credit-union policies and Teller Accuracy Guidelines.
- Maintain precise transactional records and balance the cash drawer daily.
- Refer members to Member Service Representatives for products and services that meet their financial needs.
- Remain vigilant against counterfeit currency and potential fraud.
- Teller II only: Mentor newly hired Teller I staff, train on basic new-member account opening, and explain ATM and online-banking features.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Teller I: six months of cash-handling, sales, customer-service, or teller experience.
- Teller II: twelve months of cash-handling, sales, customer-service, or teller experience.
- Adherence to BSA, Privacy Act, and elder-abuse reporting regulations.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn and apply procedures.
- Willingness to work at different branch locations and serve members via Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).

Pay
Hourly salary range based on experience and qualifications:
- Teller I: $15.00 – $19.92
- Teller II: $15.43 – $21.59

Physical demands
