Teller I (40 hours)

About the role

Deliver exceptional customer service through efficient and accurate transaction processing, assist customers with questions, and engage them about their financial needs and our services. Support Peoples Bank’s objectives, mission statement, core values, new initiatives, and customer-focused sales culture.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Assist customers with inquiries about their accounts and financial needs
• Engage customers about Peoples Bank’s services
• Support the bank’s objectives, mission, core values, and new initiatives
• Contribute to a customer-focused sales culture

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Six months to one year of cash-handling experience preferred, preferably in a financial institution

Skills

• Strong customer service skills, including attentiveness and information retention
• Tact and diplomacy in dealing with customers and colleagues
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic math skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Competence with computers, telephones, and other office machinery
