About the role

The Teller I position at TD focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and managing daily banking transactions in a TD Store setting. This role involves executing TD's brand promise, handling customer inquiries, and providing tailored financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute TD's brand promise by consistently delivering a Legendary Customer experience
• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit box operations accurately and efficiently
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalate complex issues to management
• Engage in lobby leadership by managing customer flow, welcoming customers, and guiding them appropriately
• Educate customers on self-service/digital options and refer them to partners for specialized solutions
• Maintain cash drawer balances, ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser/Teller Cash Recycler operations, and adhere to safe deposit box procedures
• Ensure compliance with bank regulations and follow dual control procedures
• Balance cash drawers and maintain secure storage of confidential customer information
• Perform in-classroom and online training as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months work-related experience preferred; equivalent experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience
• Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent

Pay

$21.00 - $26.25 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
