Teller - Full-time

About the role

Northwest tellers play a crucial role in the retail network, interacting directly with customers to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, resolving their needs and referring them to appropriate team members for complex requests.
• Travel to various Bank locations within a specified region, working flexible schedules that can vary weekly.
• Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and promote relevant products and services.
• Balance teller drawers daily and participate in vault, ATM, and device balancing as needed.
• Participate in branch opening and closing tasks, ensuring the bank's operations run smoothly.
• Support the bank's operational needs by working evenings and weekends as required.
• Adhere to security and compliance procedures to protect the bank from unnecessary risks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient task completion and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Participate in ongoing training and self-educate using bank-designed programs and applications.

Requirements

• Open availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between Bank locations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• General knowledge of office systems and software, with the ability to use them effectively.
• Knowledge of bank products, services, and digital offerings.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in the Teller System.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience in banking or retail is beneficial.
