Teller- Full Time

About the role

Northwest tellers are important members of our retail network team. They often have the most interaction with our customers and support the operational needs of the bank by traveling to various locations and working a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and efficiently process transactions
• Resolve problems and provide education services
• Uncover financial needs for referral to the appropriate line of business
• Achieve financial wellness activity goals
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and inform them of product/service features and benefits
• Refer customers to appropriate team members for complex requests or products/services
• Balance teller drawer daily and participate in dual control balancing of vault, ATM, and other devices
• Deliver on our North(west) star experience and champion customer's financial wellness
• Participate in branch opening and closing tasks
• Follow compliance, risk, and operational procedures to protect the bank from unnecessary risk
• Work evenings and weekends as scheduled, assigned, or necessary

Requirements

• Open availability to work a flexible schedule

• General knowledge of all office systems and software
• Knowledge of bank products, services, and digital offerings
• Security and dual control processes knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cash handling experience
• Customer service experience
• Banking and/or retail experience

• Computer literacy and proficiency with the Teller System

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20,000 - $30,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

The position requires a flexible schedule that varies weekly, sometimes daily, based on the needs of the Bank.
