Teller - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient processing of members' financial transactions to ensure high levels of member satisfaction and maintain accurate record keeping of member accounts.
• Contribute to sales goal attainment for department and organization goals by identifying members’ product and service needs.
• Learnt established processes and procedures provide a prescribed list of solutions for any member issues encountered.
• Conduct various member account transactions, educate members on Credit Union products and Services, perform balancing procedures and end of day procedures.
• Conducts moderate supervision of work and provides banking services, facilitates member transactions, promotes Members 1st and its services/customer service and supports general branch office operations.

Skills

• Decision making requires the ability to choose from options outlined in established procedures.
• Normal courtesy and tact.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough knowledge of credit union products, services, policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with PCs and applicable software.

Qualifications

• Requirements to be considered for Teller I Level: 0-1 year of progressive retail financial or customer service experience.
• Requirements to be considered for Teller III Level: Minimum of 3 years of retail banking or credit union experience including cash handling, customer service experience, and an understanding of financial services regulatory policies and compliance.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial experience identifying and promoting products and services to meet member/customer needs.
• This position does not require a valid Drivers License.

Compensation Overview

We are excited to offer a competitive salary for this position. This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate. The Minimum Salary For This Position Is $17.50+/hr.
