About the Role
Teller Floaters process transactions efficiently and in accordance with established teller policies and procedures. This role may require movement between branches within an assigned region to provide coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
- Offer world-class customer service and greet every customer in a way that makes them feel welcome.
- Build effective rapport with each customer to uncover additional products and services to meet their needs and achieve personal sales goals.
- Participate in job-specific training and other Bank training programs as necessary.
- Maintain current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy.
- Comply with all federal and state laws, regulations, and established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations.
- Maintain current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML.
- Rotate between banking centers as needed.
- Perform other related duties, including cross-training across departments, as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior cash-handling experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to retain, recall, and consistently apply detailed procedural information.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive and regulated tasks.
- Ability to follow multi-step processes and exercise judgment within established guidelines.
- Strong reliability, accountability, and integrity when handling cash and confidential information.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Schedule
Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
Training
- All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function.
- Ensure actions fully comply with all federal banking laws, regulations, and internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere may result in disciplinary action, including probation or termination.
