As a Float Teller at Sound Credit Union, you’ll become a trusted partner across teams by supporting members and employees while gaining valuable exposure to a variety of branch duties and communities.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service as the first point of contact for members.
- Build strong relationships by understanding member needs and providing products & solutions.
- Confidently process financial transactions and maintain accuracy.
- Solve problems and respond to member inquiries with curiosity and care.
- Adapt quickly to different teams and branch environments.
- Support branch success by stepping in where needed and helping maintain a strong member experience.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Cash handling and retail or sales experience preferred.
- Ability to travel between branches within the North King region (Redmond, Bellevue).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be bondable.
- Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law.
Bonus experience (not required): Leadership, training, or sales experience.

Pay
- $20.00–$22.50/hour, depending on experience.
- Eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus ($500 at hire, $1,000 after 6 months).
- Quarterly branch incentives tied to individual performance.
- Up to 3% annual bonus tied to Credit Union performance.
- $6,000/year car stipend (paid $500/monthly).

Schedule
This position requires an in-person schedule. Shifts are typically:
- Monday – Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM or 9:15 AM – 5:45 PM.
- Rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM, affording a day off during the week.
This is a full-time position ranging from 35-40 hours in a typical work week. Your daily work location will vary based on branch needs, primarily located within Redmond and Bellevue.
