About the role

This position involves providing high-quality, accurate customer service through daily financial transactions in a retail banking environment, serving as the first point of contact for clients.

No supervisory responsibilities. The role emphasizes operational efficiency, customer service excellence, sales, and compliance with all bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer operations, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions such as bonds and money orders.
• Assist with ATM balancing, deposit verification, and vault control, ensuring compliance with operational policies and security standards.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences by resolving issues promptly and assisting with service needs.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote bank products, and refer clients to appropriate teams to maximize revenue.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, and internal controls, upholding the bank’s ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months of cash handling or teller experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, and coin counter.
• Must be willing to travel within the market and work at multiple banking centers.
